Accused drunk driver takes memorable mug shot

DUMMERSTON, Vermont - A Massachusetts woman apparently wants people to remember her mug shot. Linda MacDonald, of Shelburne, was arrested Monday night after crashing her car into a fence on Route 5 in Dummerston, Vermont, reports CBS Boston.

According to the station, the 55-year-old MacDonald told police she was lost, so she was on the phone getting directions and writing them down when she crashed.

Police say she wasn't hurt, but they smelled alcohol, reports the station.

Officials say MacDonald failed a breathalyzer test and was arrested and charged with drunk driving.

At the Vermont State Police barracks in Brattleboro, the woman stuck her tongue out at the camera as authorities took her booking photo.

She was released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court on April 28.
