Five Ariz. students arrested in alleged plot to kill classmate

TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police arrested five high school students Wednesday for an alleged plot to kill one of their classmates, reports CBS affiliate KPHO

According to police, the students made very detailed plans about how the attack would happen on the campus of Flowing Wells High School. Police have not released a motive for the plot, saying only that the suspects were having problems with another student in their group, according to the station.

Police reportedly say that one student brought a knife to school.

Tucson police Sgt. Pete Dugan said four of the suspects are juveniles, but are being charged as adults. The fifth suspect was identified as 18-year-old Christopher Gibson.

All five were booked into the Pima County Jail for conspiracy to commit first degree murder, according to police.
