3 kids among 5 people shot in Indianapolis

An infant is among five people shot inside an Indianapolis apartment Sunday night, reports CBS Indianapolis station WTTV.

The station says officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) found a family of five, including two women and three children ages 6, 3 and an infant, when they were called to the scene.

All five were hospitalized, in serious condition.

A source told WTTV the infant was shot several times in the leg and hand.

Detectives say there are three suspects, they know the victims and they were inside the apartment when the shooting happened.

Police haven't said what led up to this.

They're looking for either a white or grey sedan seen speeding away right after the shooting.
