3 boys arrested in connection to fire at Idaho principal's home

PAYETTE, Idaho -- Three of four teenage boys in Idaho suspected of setting fire to their high school principal's house in retaliation for being suspended are in custody.

Payette Police Chief Mark Clark says police are looking for the fourth boy, the Idaho Statesman reports. He says one of the boys is facing a felony charge of first-degree arson and the other three will be charged with conspiracy to commit arson.

Investigators believe three high-schoolers and one middle-schooler were involved in the Feb. 22 blaze that destroyed Payette High School principal Mark Heleker's home and three cars parked in the driveway. His family and pets escaped the fire that started in a trash can outside the garage.

Clark says social media posts helped lead investigators to the suspects.
