2 horses killed as birthday celebration takes a tragic turn
HIALEAH, Fla. -- A birthday celebration at a ranch in Hialeah, Florida, took a tragic turn on Saturday, CBS Miami reports. A group of people went out to ride horses when they were struck by a pickup truck.
Two horses were killed and at least three people were injured.
They were being treated at Kendall Regional Hospital, according to the station.
Investigators were working to figure out what caused the crash. It wasn't immediately clear if the driver would be charged.
