2 dead, 5 injured in California nightclub shooting

SAN BERNARDINO -- Two people were killed and five others were injured in a shooting at a nightclub early Wednesday morning in San Bernardino, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Officials say the shooting took place just after 1:45 a.m. Wednesday outside of Stingers Bar and Nightclub. Two men were pronounced dead and two others were in critical condition, according to the station.

The condition of the other three victims were unknown, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Police say that 20 to 30 rounds were fired outside of the club -- while nearly 200 people were gathered. Officials say that they have video of what transpired, so they are hoping to identify suspects from that video.

Another shooting was being investigated at a nearby gas station and was believed to be connected. The incident may be gang-related, according to the station.
