Police identify man, 20, killed in Plymouth vacation rental

PLYMOUTH, Minn. – A shooting at a vacation rental home left a man dead in Plymouth.

A crowd of police cars congested a residential neighborhood Saturday night, following a shooting at a house on the 5800 block of Oakview Lane. Police say they responded to a report of a shooting at 10:50 p.m.

When officers got there, they found a man with gunshot wounds. First aid was administered, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tuesday, police identified the victim as Abraham Archie-Boy Barbly, 20, of Brooklyn Center.

Officers from Corcoran, Wayzata and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office were called in to help in the investigation.

People that live in the neighborhood said they saw around 20 people handcuffed and taken away in a bus Saturday night. WCCO has reached out to police to see if any arrests were made.

Neighbors say others ran away from the house, which is listed as a short-term rental.

WCCO talked to multiple neighbors, one of them said that the house has been listed on VRBO since roughly December. They say there's never been an incident like this before.

Neighbors estimate there were 50 people at the house Saturday night, and some saw teenagers around the house again Sunday morning. Police were still on the scene Sunday afternoon.

Plymouth police and the sheriff's office are still investigating.
