Sheriff: 2 People Sought In Connection With Injured Wright Co. Woman

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities are searching for two people they believe were involved in the assault of a teenager from Buffalo.

Cheyenne Clough, 19, was found unresponsive just outside the Crow Springs County Park in Franklin Township Wednesday morning.  She is in critical condition at the hospital.

Clough was found lying on the ground at the entrance to the park. A child headed to school found her unresponsive and told a bus driver who called 911.

"The initial investigation indicates that Cheyenne Clough was assaulted and sustained life threatening injuries sometime between the evening Tuesday May 31 to early morning hours on June first," Wright County Sheriff's Office Captain Todd Hoffman said.

The Wright County Sheriff's Office is searching for Justin Jensen, 28, and Natasha Brandenburger, 33. Captain Hoffman said the two individuals knew Clough, but did not elaborate on their relationship.

Clough was last seen Tuesday afternoon at a residence in Maple Lake, the same city where Jensen is from.

Authorities also didn't elaborate on Clough's injuries. On Facebook, A woman identifying as Clough's sister posted Thursday morning: "My sister Cheyenne Lee will be taken off life support today...friends are welcome to come see her."

Later, she posted: "It will be 24 hours before anything happens for those who want to come see her and say their goodbyes."

Investigators are also searching for a vehicle Jensen or Brandenburger may be driving. It is a 2008 white Honda Accord with Iowa license plate number AXK-248. Anyone with any information about Clough's whereabouts, or anything related to the incident, is asked to call the Wright County Sheriff's Office at 763-682-1162.

If you would like to help the family, you can donate to their GoFundMe page.
