Woman Fatally Shot In South Mpls. ID'd
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials have identified the woman fatally shot early Saturday morning in south Minneapolis.
Victoria Ann Day, 23, of Minneapolis, died of multiple gunshot wounds, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said.
Police say officers found her body around 1:30 a.m. in an alley behind a house at 2212 10th Ave. South.
Investigators do not believe Day was the victim of random violence.
Patrols are being increased in the 3rd Precinct, and police say they're asking residents to work with them to decrease crime in the area.
