Woman Drowns In Leech Lake

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say that a woman was found drowned in Leech Lake Monday afternoon.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch said that police were contacted about a medical emergency at Woodland Resort, which is on Kabekona Bay in Shingobee Township.
A woman was found near a dock, unresponsive in the water. Attempts to revive her were not successful.
The woman was not identified by name, pending notification of family members.
