Woman, 19, Dies In Scott County Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 19-year-old woman from St. Anthony died Friday from injuries suffered in a crash in Scott County, authorities said.
Authorities were called at about 4:02 p.m. Friday to a crash in the area of West 150th Street at Baseline Avenue in Louisville Township, which is just south and west of Shakopee. The victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead a little more than two hours later.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Amy Holscher. The medical examiner ruled she died of blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.
The Scott County Sheriff's Office said the accident is under investigation with assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol.
