Willmar Police Searching For Two Missing 10-Year-Old Boys
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police in Willmar are asking for the public's help Tuesday evening finding two young boys who went missing near a lake.
Police are searching for Idris Hussein and Ahmed Hashi -- both 10 years old -- near Foot Lake. According to a Facebook post from Willmar Police, the two were last seen by the dock at the northeast entrance of the Kandiyohi County Fairgrounds.
Police say an article of clothing was found in the lake, and water and rescue crews are actively searching.
Idris Hussein is described as 4 feet tall, short black hair and was last seen wearing white boots, white long pants and a vest. Ahmed Hashi is said to be 5 feet tall and was not wearing shoes. It's not known what other clothing he was wearing.
Investigators are asking residents of northwest Willmar to check their yards in the event the boys are scared and hiding. Anyone with information should call Willmar Police at 320-235-2244.
