Wild Taking School Submissions For Playoff Spirit
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP/WCCO) — The Minnesota Wild is encouraging schools across Minnesota to get into the playoff spirit.
The team has set up a contest for elementary, middle or high schools to come up with the best sign supporting the Wild as the team gears up to face the Chicago Blackhawks Friday night.
The sign can be made by the entire school or individually by students. The team is encouraging use of Minnesota Wild slogans, colors, memorabilia or player photos. Schools can also upload photos of their class or school demonstrating Wild playoff spirit.
One school in the Twin Cities seven-county metro will win a Wild pep rally. Another school in greater Minnesota will win a team-autographed hockey flag to display in their school or community. Deadline for submissions is Friday at 11:59 p.m.
