Wild Place Brodin On Injured Reserve With Broken Foot

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild have placed defenseman Jonas Brodin on injured reserve because of a broken foot.

Brodin was injured in Thursday night's 4-2 loss to the New York Rangers. The Wild said Saturday he's expected to miss three to six weeks.

The Wild also recalled forward Tyler Graovac from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League. Graovac was injured in the Wild's season-opening win at Colorado on Oct. 8. He underwent bilateral core muscle repair surgery on Nov. 3 and was activated and assigned to Iowa on Dec. 12.

Minnesota plays at St. Louis on Saturday night.
