Wife Of 'American Sniper' Author Speaking In Minn.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The wife of Chris Kyle, the author of "American Sniper," will be in the Twin Cities Sunday evening.
Taya Kyle will be speaking at the Beth El Synagogue in St. Louis Park about challenges veterans face.
Her late husband wrote the best-selling book "American Sniper," which was recently make into a blockbuster film.
She is appealing a $1.8 million defamation verdict that former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura was awarded over an account of a bar room brawl in the book.
Chris Kyle was killed by a fellow veteran on a shooting range in Texas.
Sunday night's event at Beth El Synagogue is sold out.
