WCCO Live At The State Fair (2015): Day 6
FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) -- The Great Minnesota Get-Together is about halfway through and the hot and humid conditions aren't keeping fair-goers away. There are plenty of ways to stay cool and have fun at the State Fair.
On Tuesday's 4 p.m. show, Frank and Amelia were joined by a bee expert to talk about the problems honey bees face and what we can do to help.
Tuesday was also Military Appreciation Day at the State Fair and there were many events to honor our nation's and state's veterans. WCCO's More Than Names campaign was in full swing with many signing our flag.
Amelia and Chris teamed up for the Agrilympics by milking cows and competing in an animal calling contest. We also talked wine with Leslee Miller from Minnesota Wine Country, and Frank and Amelia hung out with some lumberjacks to try logrolling.
We also got some soccer tips with a few pros from the Minnesota United, and Nina Moini showed us what's in her fanny pack to combine fashion and function at the State Fair.
