Vikings Will Start Season On Monday Night At San Francisco

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings will start the 2015 season on the road, for the sixth time in the last seven years, with a Monday night game at San Francisco.

They'll travel the final week, too, with a visit to Green Bay for the first January regular season game between the two rivals.

The NFL released the schedule on Tuesday.

The Vikings also have a Thursday night game at Arizona on Dec. 10. Their final season outside at TCF Bank Stadium includes two games in September, one in October, two in November and three in December. The home slate starts against Detroit on Sept. 20.

The bye will be early, in Week 5, but three of their last five games will be at home.
