Vikings Plan Event Space Addition To New Stadium
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Sports Facility Authority announced that the Minnesota Vikings plan to add a 17,000-square-foot event space to the forthcoming U.S. Bank Stadium.
The $7.5 million addition -- which will reportedly be "very flexible" -- will be funded wholly by the Vikings.
The new space can be one room or divided into as many as eight separate rooms, and will be able to accommodate up to 900 people.
The Star Tribune reported that the authority is expected to have complete access to the new event space.
