Vikings' Gjallarhorn Heads To Northern Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Vikings fans in northern Minnesota are being treated to a special visit to fire them up for the start of football season.
The team's original "Gjallarhorn" is stopping at various locations in what's being called the "Sound of the North" Tour. The horn - built in 2007 - is sounded before Vikings home games.
It was displayed at the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth on Tuesday.
"They're really getting to see a piece of Vikings history. There's no other chance to really get up close and personal with a piece of Vikings history," Monterae Carter with the Minnesota Vikings said.
The Gjallarhorn also stopped in Bemidji on Thursday.
