Victim In Fatal Shooting Near State Capitol Identified
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in St. Paul have identified the man killed earlier this month in a shooting near the state Capitol.
Tyrese Santell Borney, 36, of St. Paul, suffered a fatal gunshot wound on April 15, St. Paul police say. Officers found Borney on the 200 block of Aurora Avenue; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Clinton Joseph Washington was arrested hours after the shooting on suspicion of aiding an offender.
What led up to the violence remains unknown.
