Victim In Brooklyn Park Suspicious Death Identified
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Hennepin County Medical Center has identified the victim in a suspicious death in Brooklyn Park last month.
According to the medical examiner, 32-year-old Michael W. Cooper, of Minneapolis, died of blunt force head injury.
Cooper died shortly before 10:15 a.m. on October 2.
According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department, officers responded to a call of an unresponsive man at a townhome located in the 7300 block of 72nd Lane.
Upon arrival police found Cooper. They arrested Asjia Monique McCaskel, 19, in connection with the homicide.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Brooklyn Park Police Department.
