Vendors Run Out Of Food During U.S. Bank Stadium Opening

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It looks like there are a few things to work on as the U.S. Bank Stadium gears up for more events in the coming weeks.

As reported by WCCO's Jason DeRusha, vendors ran out of food early during the inaugural soccer match at U.S. Bank Stadium Wednesday night – some as early as halftime.

High traffic leaving the stadium was also said to be an issue for the sold out crowd.

Many people reported a frustrating mess trying to get out, including clogged roadways and light rail trains that did not come frequently enough.

Celebrity chef and Twin Cities resident Andrew Zimmern is apologizing to fans who encountered problems.
