'U' Student Robbed At Gunpoint Near Campus
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A student at the University of Minnesota was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon just a few blocks off campus.
Minneapolis Police say it happened near the intersection of 12th Avenue and 7th Street Southeast. The victim was standing near the corner when two suspects described as black males wearing ski masks pointed a gun at her and stole her phone and backpack before fleeing in a car.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and the crime does not fit a pattern of other robberies in the area.
