U Of M Office Of Information Technology CIO Resigns

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the University of Minnesota's Office of Information Technology has resigned.

According to University of Minnesota president Eric Kaler, the university accepted Scott Studham's resignation Friday.

In the interim, the Associate Vice President for Information Technologies Bernard Gulachek will serve as a replacement.

Kaler said Gulachek has served in a number of technology roles during his 29 years at the university and has led many goals and initiatives.

The university released a statement saying, "The University thanks Mr. Studham for his service and wishes him the best as he pursues other opportunities. Associate Vice President for Information Technology Bernard Gulachek will serve as Interim Vice President and CIO while the University conducts a national search for Mr. Studham's replacement."
