Twins, MLB Team Up To Help Homeless Minn. Vets

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- As part of the All-Star Game legacy project, the Minnesota Twins and Major League Baseball are helping local veterans.

On Tuesday morning, Twins and MBL officials were at the Advantage Services Center in St. Paul to dedicate a new housing complex for homeless veterans.

Some 58 new homes will be available next to the VA Medical Center.

The dedication was part of the MLB's Welcome Back Veterans initiative.
