Scattered showers, cooler temps Thursday in the Twin CIites
MINNEAPOLIS — Upper-level energy will keep a few spotty showers in the forecast for Thursday afternoon, otherwise expect a mix of clouds and sun.
Temperatures will be a bit cooler than Wednesday with highs near 60 degrees.
A northwest breeze of up to 30 mph will make it feel a bit cooler, especially in the shade.
Don't be alarmed when you hear tornado sirens. Special tests will occur at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. in Minnesota as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week. The 6:45 p.m. test was canceled for Wisconsin.
High pressure returns from the west on Friday, bringing more sunshine and eventually calmer winds by the evening.
Temps climb back to lower 60s in the afternoon after starting near 40 in the morning.
Outside of a few breezes on Saturday, expect a spectacular weekend with lots of sun and mild temps in the 70s.
