Dayton Invites Trick-Or-Treaters To Governor's Residence

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Gov. Mark Dayton is inviting Minnesota children to celebrate Halloween by trick-or-treating at the Governor's Residence.

Costumed kiddos can sample hot apple cider and apples from several Minnesota orchards, as well as candy and other treats donated by companies including Pearson's Candy Company, Mars Inc., Annie B's Popcorn & Caramels and B.T. McElrath Chocolatier.

The Crow River Sustainable Farming Association will donate mini-pumpkins and apples. The Governor's Residence will feature a festive decoration by Heidi's Lifestyle Gardens.

The Governor's Residence, located at 1006 Summit Avenue in St. Paul, will be open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Halloween.
