Train, Edward Sharpe Headline 20th Basilica Block Party
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Cities 97 Basilica Block Party will rock the streets of downtown Minneapolis for its 20th year.
This year's block party will take place from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. both on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 on the grounds of the Basilica of St. Mary.
On July 11, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Airbourne Toxic Event and Crash will take to the Sun Country Stage. The Preferred One Stage will feature Michael Franti and Spearhead, Delta Rae, Eric Hutchinson and The Weeks.
Train, Ingrid Michaelson, Caroline Smith and Alpha Rev will be on the Sun Country Stage on July 12. And Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite, Serena Ryder and The Wild Feathers play the Preferred One Stage on day two.
The Vita.mn Stage will feature Black Diet, Jillian Rae, Carroll, BBGUN and Stereo Confession during the Block Party.
General admission tickets go on sale May 3 at 10 a.m. Single-night tickets are $50 and two-day passes are $90.
