Toddler Drowns In Backyard Pool Near River Falls
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A toddler drowned in an above-ground backyard pool Sunday near River Falls, Wisconsin, at the home of family friends.
Two-year-old Ellory Feona Ennenga had been playing with her two siblings and three other children at a home in Clifton Township.
Ennenga's parents noticed she was missing and checked the pool, where they found their daughter's unresponsive body.
They called 911 around 7:30 p.m. and paramedics tried and failed to resuscitate the girl for nearly an hour.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner ruled the death an accidental freshwater drowning.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
