Timberwolves To Host Preseason Game In Cedar Rapids
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Monday that they're returning to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this fall to host a preseason game.
It'll be the team's first trip back to Iowa since 2002. The Timberwolves will host the Milwaukee Bucks at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at the U.S. Cellular Center. Tickets for the game will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6. They can be purchased at the U.S. Cellular Center box office, Ticketmaster online or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000.
The Timberwolves faced the Boston Celtics in Cedar Rapids in the 2002 preseason, losing 95-83.
