Timberwolves Sign G/F Brandon Rush
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves are in desperate need of perimeter shooting and bench depth, and they may have found a player that can provide both.
The Timberwolves signed guard/forward Brandon Rush in free agency. He was a reserve player for the Golden State Warriors last year, but in 25 starts, he averaged seven points and 3.3 rebounds per game in about 21 minutes of action. He also shot 50 percent from the field, including 49.4 percent from three-point range.
For the season, Rush shot 41.4 percent from the field while averaging 4.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. Rush is entering his ninth NBA season after being drafted by Portland in 2008.
