Theater Brings Back Bilingual Nativity Story

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre in Minneapolis is bringing back its bilingual Nativity story this Christmas season.

"La Natividad" combines puppetry, street theater and audience participation.

The performance begins at Heart of the Beast's Avalon Theater on East Lake Street. After a torch-light procession, the celebration ends with a fiesta in the fellowship hall at St. Paul's Lutheran Church two blocks away.

The show is performed in English and Spanish. Tickets are $22 with discounts for children and groups of 10 or more.

Seven shows are planned, starting Dec. 11 and running through Dec. 21.
