The Who Postpones Tour, Including Minneapolis Show

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One of the greatest live rock and roll bands in the world bummed out their Minnesota fans Friday.

The Who has postponed their North American tour because singer Roger Daltrey is suffering from viral meningitis.

The legendary British band was set to perform at Minneapolis' Target Center on Oct. 10 during their "The Who Hit 50!" tour.

Guitarist Pete Townshend apologized to fans, and says the band hopes to reschedule in the spring of 2016.

Fans that planned to go to the Minneapolis show are told to hold on to their tickets.
