Teens Re-Arrested After Faribault Jailbreak
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you're going to attempt a jailbreak, wouldn't you have a plan for ditching your orange jumpsuit?
Rice County authorities say two minimum-security inmates, both 18 years old, threw a fire extinguisher through a window and escaped from the Faribault County Jail early Wednesday morning.
They ended up stealing and crashing two cars, and were ultimately caught heading for the Iowa border, according to Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn.
"A resident called and said they had two people in jumpsuits, orange jumpsuits, on their back porch," Dunn said.
The two teens are back in custody, and in a lot more hot water than before.
