Hunter, 16, Found Dead In Northern Minnesota Deer Stand
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The death of a teenage hunter is under investigation after his body was found Saturday night in a northern Minnesota deer stand.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says that the 16-year-old was found around 5:30 p.m. by a member of his hunting party. The group was deer hunting in White Township, just southwest of Aurora.
The teen was identified as Corwin Johnson, of Aurora. He was found with a gunshot wound.
Foul play is not suspected, officials say.
The death is being investigated as a suicide.
