Taxi Drivers Protest Treatment By Hotels, Traffic Officers In Mpls.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A taxi driver protest made driving in downtown Minneapolis a bit messy Tuesday.
The drivers disrupted traffic near the Hilton Hotel and in other parts of downtown. They said they're being treated unfairly by local hotels who direct service to limo drivers instead of cabs.
Drivers also said they feel disrespected by city traffic enforcement officers.
The city has said its working with the drivers to reach some kind of agreement.
