Target Field Debuts Self-Serve Beer Stations

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota Twins fans now have even more control over what – and how much – beer they can consume while enjoying a ball game.

Self-serve beer stations, called DraftServ, debuted at Target Field Sunday and marks the first time in history one of these machines has been used at a Major League Baseball game.

Minnesota Twins spokesman Chris Iles says two of the machines will be in place for the upcoming All-Star Game. Both will be available on the main concourse.

ESPN's Darren Rovell is reporting that Anheuser-Busch and Delaware North partnered to create the beer stations. An employee will be at each station to check IDs and each card is limited to 48-ounces of beer every 15 minutes.

Rovell reports there will be four beer options: Budweiser, Bud Light, Shock Top Lemon Shandy and Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat Ale.
