Tail End Of Winter Was Harsh For House Hunters
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's been a frustrating early spring real estate market for house hunters in the Twin Cities.
Minnesota Association of Realtors Executive Director Chris Galler says there's usually more for sale by this time in March, but that hasn't been the case this year.
"Buyer activity has been very high, and they're becoming very frustrated," he said. "They're not seeing what they want and then they become somewhat fatigued."
Galler says our brutal winter may have played a role in what was a very slow real estate market in January and February.
The good news, he says, is that the number of people planning to list their homes for sale later this spring is up.
