Gov. Dayton Hands Off Super Bowl To '19 Host Atlanta
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- With Minnesota's second Super Bowl in the rear-view mirror, it is time to pass the baton.
Super Bowl 53 will be in Atlanta next year. The big game was the officially handed to Atlanta's host committee Monday morning at a ceremony held at Mall of America.
"We showed what we do, despite the weather," Dayton said. "Very proud of Minnesota."
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was on hand to pass a symbolic football to the group from Atlanta.
