MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- How smart do you think you are? Because you may not be as intelligent as you think.

A new study from the American Psychological Association suggests that instant, online access to information may be inflating people's sense of their own intelligence.

Researchers essentially say we don't realize how much we actually know and how dependent we've become on the Internet.

The study warns that having this unrealistic sense of knowledge could be dangerous when it comes to making important decisions that could have consequences.
