Stores Have Trouble Keeping Bridgewater Jerseys On The Shelves
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Teddy Bridgewater is the player on everyone's minds, and now, on everyone's jerseys.
The latest fan favorite was hard to keep in stock before Thursday's Vikings-Packers game.
"Not in my size, otherwise I would've got one." Chad Mostrom said. "I have to call back tomorrow."
"They don't have them any in youth," Sarah Hamilton said. "We tried to buy them in youth for my son but they don't have any."
At the Vikings Locker Room in Mall of America was sold out of youth Bridgewater jerseys, and several sizes for adults, before Thursday's game.
The store has been making extra trips to their warehouse, trying to keep up with demand.
The Bridgewater jersey is not just hard to find in the store, they are also a top seller on NFLshop.com.
Luckily one fan grabbed his this summer thanks to dad, Laly Yang, who has been a Bridgewater fan from the beginning.
"No doubt about it, Teddy he's the real deal," Yang said. "I was there at the game Sunday. I lost my voice just yelling 'Teddy' the whole time."
Then there are fans like Gretchen Pfaff, who bought more than $500 worth of Vikings gear.
But Bridgewater's jersey is not on the list this time.
"We're long suffering Vikings fans," Pfaff said. "So we don't want to jinx anything by getting too over excited."
The Vikings Locker Room is expecting another shipment of Bridgewater jerseys Friday morning.
