State Patrol: Man Killed In Rollover Crash With Horse Trailer
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 51-year-old man was killed Monday in a rollover crash involving a horse trailer in northwestern Minnesota, according to the State Patrol.
Authorities responded to the crash at about 5 p.m. on Highway 10 west of Perham in Otter Tail County. When officers arrived, a 1996 Ford pick-up truck was traveling eastbound on Highway 10 when the horse trailer it was pulling had a mechanical issue. It caused the trailer and truck to roll over into the right lane.
The driver of the truck was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Dennis H. Pedersen of Fergus Falls.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted at the scene by Perham Fire and Rescue and the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office.
