State Patrol: 60-Year-Old Man Killed In Itasca Co. ATV Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 60-year-old Hibbing man was killed in an ATV accident Saturday evening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Officials say the driver, identified as Martin Plaisted, was traveling southbound in the east ditch of Highway 65 when he hit an elevated part and rolled his ATV over.
Authorities say Plaisted was then trapped under the ATV and was submerged underwater, where he later died.
The incident remains under investigation.
