State Patrol: 450+ Crashes, Spinouts During November Snow Storm
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota State Patrol says hundreds of crashes have happened during Tuesday's icy snowstorm.
Between 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., there were 280 crashes on Minnesota roads. Twenty-three of those crashes resulted in injuries, including one serious injury in Nobles County. There have been 184 vehicle spinouts and 15 jackknifed semi-trucks.

Several inches of snow was dropped across Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, with snow totals ranging between 2 and 8 inches. Southern Minnesota was under an ice warning for most of the day, which expired early in the evening.
Crews with the Minnesota Department of Transportation are hitting the road overnight. Officials say mixed precipitation will make the work challenging. If the storm exits the state by midnight, they say they're "confident" that roads will be ready for Wednesday morning commuters.
