St. Paul police investigating homicide in Frogtown neighborhood

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Police in St. Paul are investigating a deadly shooting Wednesday evening in the city's Frogtown neighborhood.

The St. Paul Police Department says one person died in a shooting at the intersection of Charles Avenue and Galtier Street just before 7 p.m.

Upon arrival, police found a man sitting inside a parked vehicle near the intersection suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to his torso.

Responders provided aid to the man and he was transported to Regions Hospital, where he died from his injuries. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office will identify the man and his cause of death.

Police say they have not made any arrests and are searching for who is responsible.

This is the city's 15th homicide this year.
