St. Francis High School Cleared After Bomb Threat

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –St. Francis High School has been declared safe Friday after a bomb threat forced the school to evacuate.

Shortly before 10 a.m. the Superintendent of the Independent School District 15 Troy Ferguson said the school received a bomb threat.

While unconfirmed, Ferguson said students and staff were evacuated to St. Francis Middle School for safety precautions.

Local law agencies responded and are working to clear the building.

Shortly after noon, a post on the school's Facebook said the Anoka County Sheriff's Canine unit came in and swept the building. They did not find anything and declared it safe for students to return.
