St. Cloud Man Arrested For Alleged Drive-By Shooting Of Woman
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 19-year-old St. Cloud man is in the Stearns County Jail after being suspected of a drive-by shooting Tuesday that injured one woman.
According to St. Cloud Police, Malcolm Cooper is believed to have fired shots at a 19-year-old woman from his vehicle just before 1 p.m. on the 700 block of 13th Street South.
The woman was injured, but police think she may have been struck by bullet fragments and not a bullet itself.
She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Sartell Police arrested Cooper during a traffic stop, and turned him over to St. Cloud Police.
He is expected to face assault charges. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
