South Dakota Man Killed 3 Before Killing Himself, Police Say
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Investigators say a young man murdered three people and injured a fourth before killing himself Saturday morning.
It happened about four hours west of the Twin Cities on an Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
Police believe 22-year-old Colter Arbach was the one who committed the murders.
They have his home taped off as they continue to sift through evidence.
Police haven't named the victims or said how they knew Arbach.
A man who lives down the street said he was awakened by bursts of gunfire.
"I lost count at 20 rounds and that was after the second burst," he said.
Investigators are now talking with people who may have witnessed the shooting.
