Snow Accumulates In Northern Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- While it was too warm Wednesday for flakes to fall in the metro, parts of northern Minnesota saw snow accumulate on lawns and windshields.
Near Baxter, the snow was heavy enough to leave a coating on the grass. Around Bemidji, snow showers fell for most of the afternoon and evening. One WCCO viewer sent in photos from Park Rapids, showing an accumulation of about 2 inches.

The metro could see some flakes Wednesday night as the edge of a storm system moves through, but it isn't expected to accumulate.
Next week, it will definitely be cold enough to snow in the metro. The highs on Tuesday and Wednesday are only projected to be in the 20s.
