Man Shot In Downtown Minneapolis; Police Searching For Shooter

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An investigation is underway after a man was shot in the leg Thursday evening in downtown Minneapolis.

The Minneapolis Police Department says the shooting happened shortly before 7 p.m. near the intersection of Hennepin Avenue and South 8th Street.

Officers found a man in his early 30s with a gunshot wound to the leg. He is expected to survive.

Police say the man hasn't be cooperative with investigators. So far, no arrests have been made.
